Winterwood boasts spectacular views of Lake Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains from the full length front verandah whilst accommodating up to 16 people in 6 bedrooms, across 2 levels with three bathrooms and two kitchens.

This property provides comfortable, clean and spacious rooms throughout with two large living areas, each with TV, DVD player and stereo. Open plan kitchen and dining room on the upstairs level. There are three bathrooms including full length baths. Full laundry facilities with drying room and lockable ski racks for the winter season. There is ample heating with both gas and electric heaters throughout along with two open wood fireplaces for the cooler months. Guests can make the most of the fantastic views whilst preparing meals on the gas BBQ on the front verandah. Winterwood is just metres from East Jindabyne convenience store, a short stroll to the Lake Jindabyne foreshore, and an easy 35 minute drive to the snow & ski fields of Thredbo and Perisher. Whether your aim is to have an action-packed winter skiing holiday, or a relaxing summer break, Winterwood is the ideal base.

Personal items including toiletries, face cloths etc. are not provided.

Further replenishment is the responsibility of each guest during your stay.

5.0 "Awesome stay at winterwood"

We had a fabulous time ..couldn't have asked for more.. watching the sun rise with a cuppa was my favorite of all.. well equipped kitchen is a bonus.. the property was pretty clean and neat.. would love to come back and stay next year ..

Winterwood was the perfect place for our crew to stay! Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at the house. The location of was perfect for our needs, and the view of the lake was mesmerising, as you watched from the balcony with a cold one… and not too far from any of the sights that Jindabyne has to offer. We had plenty of space for whatever any individual wanted to do, whether it was sneaking off for a nap or big “solve the problems of the world” discussions over drinks 🙂 No complaints about the beds or pillows or blankets because the house stayed warm with the heat from the fireplace. All the bathrooms were clean, so were the kitchens. The upstairs kitchen and dining area was big enough for all of us to eat together… Nothing was too much trouble for Cath at Absolute Alpine, who I contacted about some more firewood, and it arrived on the same day! We encountered no problems with anything, and overall, I would definitely recommend a stay at Winterwood.
