No matter what you've set as your skiing or snowboarding goals, the dedicated staff from the Hotham Snowsports Centre are here to help you achieve your dreams.

Whether you are looking to just start out on the snow and are a little wary of what it is all about, or you have been attacking double blacks for years, the Hotham Snowsports Centre team are able to teach you something to help you with your skiing or riding. 

You're in the right place to learn, improve and excel at Hotham with qualified instructors from all over the globe including Canada, Sweden & Austria.

The team of more than 150 instructors are trained in teaching skiing and boarding, race & freestyle, to adults and kids of all ages and abilities.

Adult lessons are available for people aged 15 or above, and start from outside Hotham Central.

Adult Group lessons at Hotham Snowsports Centre cater for all standards of skier and boarder.

Beginners
The resort's combination of walk-on beginner areas and friendly, patient instructors is perfect for those starting out. Hotham Snowsports Centre recommends that you start off learning to ski or board with a lesson; you will learn quickly, safely and easily - giving you more time to enjoy your time on the slopes!

Intermediates & Advanced
It is always a good idea to get a lesson to help you "get your legs back", improve your technique so as you can ski/ board more terrain or learn a new trick in the park.

Kids Snowzone

The Kids Snowzone features a huge variety of lessons programs, activities, theme days, fun games and of course lots of snowplay! Children from as young as 3 years can participate in group snowsports lessons.

Whether your child is a seasoned expert or is seeing snow for the very first time, Mt Hotham have a variety of specially tailored lessons and programs to get them out on the slopes in no time. The Snowzone is staffed by a range of qualified instructors that are dedicated to ensuring your kids have a great time. Group participation is also encouraged, meaning that the Snowzone is the perfect place to make new friends!

Terrain Parks

If you're looking to get some air or take on some new features in the park... Hotham is the place to be this winter.

With the Basin Rail Park, Summit Terrain Park and Skier / Boarder Cross Course on offer you'll be getting all the air and action you crave.

Cross Country and Biathlon

As the resort is surrounded by the spectacular Alpine National Park, all of the trails include spectacular scenery and plenty of fresh air!

Hotham and Dinner Plain has over 35km of trails, with circuits ranging in length from 2km to 15km.
Some trails start straight from Hotham village, or you can take the free village shuttle bus to Wire Plain, the starting point for most courses. Other trails start around Dinner Plain. Something for everyone!
