Cross Country Delight

With more than 60km of groomed cross country trails there's a lot to see across the picturesque Bogong High Plains. You might even catch a glimpse of the Australian National Cross Country Team who call Falls Creek home every winter. We are also the proud hosts of the largest international snowsports event in the southern hemisphere, the Kangaroo Hoppet, which forms part of the prestigious World Loppet race circuit.

Falls Creek is home to one of Australia's most innovative and award winning Kid's Snowsports Schools coupled with an exceptional Adults Snowsports School. Our theme - park style centre is located adjacent to the Cloud 9 Restaurant complex at the top of Falls Creek Express Quad Chairlift and offers modern facilities with specialised staff for children 3 - 5 years old.

This purpose built beginner facility is adjoined by fun and exciting beginner terrain which is especially allocated, managed and designed including fun, colourful obstacles around the centre provides an ideal learning environment for children.

Falls Creek is the perfect place to become a snowsports expert with a huge variety of beginner terrain including Wombats Ramble, Australia’s longest beginner run, giving you plenty of space to practice your new technique.

Group Lessons are great fun and the best way to meet new people while skiing. Your instructor will have you cruising the best runs for your ability taking advantage of the Snowsports express lift line ensuring as much practice time as possible. Single or multi day class lessons are available for enthusiasts at all levels. You'll be amazed at the difference a lesson can make. Remember, lessons are even cheaper when you buy them together with your lift pass. Class lessons for both adults and children commence at 10:00am and 1:30pm.

First Time Savings

If you’ve never skied before, purchase a Falls Beginners Ticket and save. This reduced price pass lets you access the lifts best suited to beginners saving the rest of the resort until tomorrow! Meeting Place Ski lessons leave the designated meeting place promptly at 10:00am for morning classes and 1:30pm for afternoon classes.

MILO Junior Workshop and MILO Junior Shred (Ages 6-14yrsMILO Junior Programs have an emphasis on fun and safety whilst teaching essential skills for young skiers and boarders.
